Where We Need You : Protiviti UK’s Technology Risk & Resilience practice is a part of our overall Technology Consulting Division. The practice includes coverage of focussed disciplines such as information and technology risk management, third party risk, technology risk governance, operational and technology resilience and cyber security risk management. You will be part of the Technology Consulting solution that provides innovative solutions to complex technology challenges. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design and implement technology strategies, and support successful project delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilising cutting-edge technologies, and contributing to the growth of the Technology Consulting practice. Key Responsibilities What You Can Expect : The Senio r Consultant role has primary responsibility for supervision of consultants in project work plans or as the main delivery role in more complex engagements. The Senior Consultant has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve business processes. Assess our client’s technology environments by designing, implementing and executing technology risk assessments from both a technical and business point of view, conducting reviews of IT processes, risks, and controls. Review system s and technology governance against recognised industry standards like ITIL, COBIT, NIST, SOC2, ISO etc. Participate in providing insights, suggesting practical solutions that enhance business and technology performance, streamline operations and bolster risk management. Build technology risk frameworks across first and second lines of defence. Assume responsibility for the seamless delivery of multiple projects end-to-end while coaching junior team members, mentoring individuals and reporting to senior leadership. Build strong client relationships with a view to identifying additional business opportunities to aid in the development of our technology risk and resilience services. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Experience in a consulting environment or industry with a focus on Technology related risks. Indicative areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: IT Risk Management Frameworks IT Control Frameworks IT Risk Governance and Strategy IT Risk Assessments Resilience Frameworks Information Security Risk 3rd Party Risk Management A strong foundation in IT, project management/service delivery, operational/IT risk management or consulting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesise, analyse information and develop structured reports containing findings and recommendations. The ability to work autonomously with an outcome-based, delivery mindset. Ability to lead fieldwork by directing daily delivery, informing managers of engagement status, and supervision of junior staff members. Aptitude to collaborate effectively with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop project delivery plans, risk assessments, budget trackers and other engagement management documents. Strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and drive responsibility and accountability with engagement team members. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of Client’s IT environments and industry IT trends to identify service and control issues and be able to effectively communicate this information to the engagement team and client management. Able to engage with a wide range of client stakeholders and translate technology issues into clear and concise business language for non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge and application of industry standard frameworks such as CoBIT framework, ISO27001, NIST CSF, SOC2, ITIL Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salar ies are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medica l and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 2 5 days holiday p er calendar year.
