Key Tasks Provide customer care at the highest level to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Maintaining a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs, parking restrictions and giving due regard to other drivers Ensure of the correct and prompt delivery of all goods on the vehicle, in the planned sequence, unless otherwise authorised. Communicate with the transport office any delays or problems during the route Ensure that the MDT / documentation is completed in accordance with agreed procedures i.e. proof of deliveries, uplifts etc. Obtain signatures from authorized customer representatives for all deliveries and collections. The collection of goods returned for credit or onward supply and their safe delivery back to site as instructed by the Manager The correct use of the digital tachograph and where appropriate the completion of tachograph charts including the accurate recording of hours, breaks and also working time information. The completion of the daily inspection as detailed in the drivers handbook To ensure that keys are never left in the ignition of an unattended vehicle at any time Maintaining the internal and external condition and cleanliness of the vehicle Ensure that the load is secure and that loading retaining bars are used and if appropriate also that trailers are sealed before departure Ensure of compliance with correct manual handling procedures at all times Ensure of prompt reporting of any risks related to the job or injury sustained Ensuring that, at all times, an awareness of the need to be safety conscious and work to the Health & Safety aspects detailed in the SOP's relating to the job and workplace Always presenting a smart and clean appearance including wearing the company uniform as supplied along with the relevant PPE What your background should look like Competencies Communication both verbal and written Working Accurately Proven ability to work alone and unsupervised able to initiate action Customer Care Skills Building Customer Loyalty Alloga is part of Cencora, a leading global pharmaceutical and healthcare company What Cencora offers All team members globally are provided with basic life insurance, personal accident insurance, business travel accident insurance, and EAP resources at no cost.
