We're looking for a special candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. As our Deli Manager you will:
* Understand our customers' needs and advise customers about our products and services.
* Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
* Allocate work duties to other members of the Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
* Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
* Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
* Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
* Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Deli Department is maintained at all times.
* Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to.
* Undertake other duties as required for the role.
You will possess:
* Creative flair and an eye for detail, ensuring that excellent presentation and standards are maintained.
* Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
* Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures.
Rate of pay will be subject to qualifications and experience. Immediate start.
