Role Description The ideal candidate for this position will have experience as a Registered Manager and a deep understanding of children and young people in care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the established home with full staff team, ensuring that all regulations are met. What You’ll Do: Maintain a safe, structured and secure homely environment for children. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. Provide leadership and direction to staff work in partnership with other professionals. Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure they are meeting desired outcomes. Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that all staff are informed of changes in policies and procedures. Develop strategies to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children in our care. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Experience: At least 2 years managerial or supervisory experience within residential childcare. Driving: A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and high-performing environment. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards in children’s residential care.
