Axon Moore are partnering with a market-leading, high growth company based in Bolton who are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. As Accounts Assistant you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress and increase responsibilities within the role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Timely and accurate completion of payments.
* Accurate entry of payments on accounting system.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Completion of Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
* Accruals and Prepayments
* Assist Finance Team with month and year end process.
* Liaise with Senior Managers in company for authorisation of payments.
* Liaise with external suppliers on invoice and payment queries.
* Ad hoc duties.
Required Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years working in a similar role.
* Preferably studying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA
* Confident speaking to managers and external suppliers.
* Conscientious and an eye for detail.
* A willingness to learn and improve.
* An ability to work under pressure.
