1:1 Nurture Tutor

We are seeking a therapeutic 1:1 Nurture Tutor to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a personalised learning environment. This is a highly individualised role where you will deliver one-to-one tutoring, tailoring the curriculum to meet the child’s specific needs, interests and learning style. You will work from pre-assigned learning pathways, adapting and personalising content to ensure it is engaging, accessible and meaningful.
This position offers fantastic hours — 9:00am to 3:00pm — and includes collecting the child from home at 9:00am, accompanying them to the learning centre, and returning them home at 3:00pm. Consistency, reliability and a calm, nurturing approach are essential.
We are looking for tutors who are available five days per week (full-time), four days per week (part-time), or three days per week (part-time). These roles will run until the end of the academic year, offering consistency and the opportunity to build strong, impactful relationships over time. We are flexible with start dates—immediate starts are available, and we are also happy to wait for the right candidate to complete their notice period.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 therapeutic educational support to an SEN child
* Adapt and personalise learning pathways to meet the child’s individual needs (objectives will be provided)
* Deliver nurturing, relationship-based support
* Transport the child safely to and from the learning centre
* Monitor progress and provide feedback as required
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN (essential)
* A nurturing, patient, and therapeutic approach
* Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Willingness to complete a mandatory induction prior to starting
