Tetra Tech RPS Energy (TTRPSE) is seeking a Lead/Principal Advisor - Asset Management - Oil & Gas to lead a team delivering significant projects within the Technical Advisory group, encompassing activities within Offshore Oil and Gas, pipelines, onshore terminals, and gas storage.
Location for this role is flexible. Most of our team is based in Woking; we can also consider home working with travel for team meetings. We offer flexible working opportunities, including part-time roles, to ensure a balance of family and work life.
Our Technical Advisory team comprises highly experienced industry professionals with expertise in subsurface, reserve audits, Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), equity redetermination, and upstream asset management. We are dedicated to advancing energy solutions and ensuring responsible resource use.
Your Role
* Manage technical due diligence of offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities at a senior level.
* Advise operators and government bodies on policy and standards from a Process Safety Engineering perspective.
* Apply technical and business skills as project lead and within project teams to deliver high-quality end products and recommendations with client satisfaction.
* Manage multi-disciplinary teams evaluating exploration, appraisal, development projects, and producing fields.
* Prepare schedules, pre-planning, and resource forecasting.
* Travel to UK and worldwide locations as required.
* Enhance TTRPSE's knowledge through client engagement and industry best practices.
* Lead proposal delivery and sales for large projects with the TTRPSE bid team.
* Coach junior colleagues on technical aspects and sector knowledge.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or Science, e.g., Process or Petroleum Engineering.
* Knowledge of related disciplines such as petrophysics, reservoir engineering, production engineering, facilities engineering, cost estimation, petroleum contracts, and economics.
Extensive experience in as many of the following as possible:
* Project Management
* Oil and Gas Operations (Offshore, Deepwater, Subsea, Onshore, Midstream)
* Drilling and Completions
* Petroleum and Production Engineering
* Process Engineering
* Pipeline and Fluid Flow
* Safety-critical maintenance
* Project design, construction, and commissioning
* Reservoir Engineering / Geoscience
* Field development and economics
* Health, Safety, and Environment issues
* Technical safety and regulations (US Gulf, UK/EU)
* Hazard and risk assessments (HAZOP/HAZID, Safety Case)
