Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and making a real difference in children's early years? Wee Rascals – A Summers Nursery LTD is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team at our setting in Kintore.
About the Role
You will be working with children aged 3–5 years, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our team is committed to providing high-quality early learning and childcare where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to thrive.
Hours of Work
* Tuesday – Friday
* 7:30am – 6:00pm
This role offers a consistent 4-day working week, providing a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality early learning experiences in line with Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition guidance
* Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
* Plan and implement engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental stages
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
* Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
* Work effectively as part of a supportive team
What We're Looking For
* A genuine passion for working with children aged 3–5 years
* Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent)
* Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practice
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, proactive attitude
