Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, Metro Rod also operates Willow Pumps and Filta – two expanding businesses focused on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one‑stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
What does it entail?
* Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains.
* Operation of high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
* Carrying out surveys.
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
* Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and applications.
* Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times.
* Being part of an on‑call rota to help service clients 24/7 / 365 days a year (one week in four, variable according to business needs).
What experience do we look for?
* High‑pressure water jetting experience.
* Surveying experience.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial drainage.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
* Willing to work unsociable hours.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Must live in the Devon area.
