Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice to join a busy, well-established Payroll and HR Services team and learn an abundance of new professional skills, whilst also gaining a recognised qualification in Business Administration (Level 3).
The HR/Payroll Apprentice will support the HR Services/Payroll team with various administration and HR tasks. We are seeking an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a focus on delivering first-class administration services efficiently, professionally, and effectively.
Responsibilities include:
1. Triaging the HR Services inbox
2. Responding to general email enquiries from employees across the UK
3. Data entry into Resource link, our HR system
4. Supporting general HR project work
Salary: £15,000 - £16,000
Qualifications
Skills required:
* Act with integrity and enthusiasm, treating sensitive information confidentially
* Develop successful working relationships with the wider Recruitment & HR team
* Be confident and proactive, able to work on own initiative with support from the HRBP team
* Strong communication skills via Teams, telephone, face-to-face, and written formats
* Attention to detail, especially when working with large data sets and capturing/scribing meeting notes
* Interest in HR & Recruitment / willingness to learn
* Knowledge of O365, Teams, Word, Excel
* Good level of communication, written English, and drafting skills
* Maths/English GCSEs
* Confident communicator, organized, self-motivated, reliable
* Appreciation for discretion and confidentiality
