Salary and Working Arrangements
* Salary: up to £75,000 depending on experience.
* Locations: Stevenage, Bristol, Bolton (relocation possible).
* Hybrid working: 4-5 days per week on site; compressed hours available.
* Security clearance: British or Dual UK national. All successful candidates will pass HMG BPSS checks.
* Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
* Employment type: Full-time.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of the FPGA design life‑cycle from specification to final validated design. You will:
* Generate complex FPGA architectures and design implementations.
* Verify FPGA designs using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test‑bench methodologies.
* Use FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools.
* Develop low‑level C software for FPGA test and integration with embedded systems.
* Document designs to a high professional standard.
Qualifications
* Degree: in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience with VHDL, Simulink and FPGA optimisation for Xilinx, Intel or Microsemi devices.
* Proficiency in simulation tools such as QuestaSim and ModelSim.
* Strong programming skills in C for FPGA integration.
* Experience configuring and documenting designs.
Security and Vetting
Some roles may require a higher‑level security clearance such as DV.
