Senior Management Accountant - 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a thriving organisation on a 12‑month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone who can make an immediate impact within a busy, collaborative finance function and enjoys a broad mix of management accounting and operational finance work.

Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals and P&L commentary
Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple regions
Oversee stock invoice postings and investigate purchase price variances
Support marketing budget tracking and run monthly budget meetings
Prepare VAT returns for multiple countries
Complete bank reconciliations (GBP & EUR)
Produce daily sales reporting
Process monthly commission payments across all markets
Update weekly currency rates
Conduct monthly debt reviews and support the Sales Ledger function
Provide operational finance support including calls, queries, and ad‑hoc tasks
Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the Finance Team About You
Qualified (ideally ACCA / CIMA but AAT and QBE would be considered for the right person
Strong background in management accounting
Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (desirable)
Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
Highly organised, deadline‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities What You Will Receive
