Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students at a welcoming SEN secondary school in Havant. This is a full-time temporary role, perfect for someone passionate about helping young people with additional needs succeed in a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students aged 11–16 with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), learning difficulties, and SEMH.
* Work closely with the classroom teacher to adapt resources and ensure lessons are accessible for all learners.
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence.
* Encourage students to build confidence and develop key social skills.
* Contribute to a safe, encouraging, and inclusive school atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting children or young people (school-based experience is beneficial but not essential).
* A patient, calm, and proactive approach.
* A strong interest in SEN education and pupil development.
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to commit to a full-time temporary role.
* Available to start ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
