Job Title: CNC Turner
Salary: £25-35 per hour
Location: Reading
Contract: 4-6 Months
Role Overview – CNC Turner
Join our clients machine shop as a CNC Turner, working under the Machine Shop Supervisor to operate CNC lathes and produce precise components to meet quality and deadline targets.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Turner
* Set up and operate CNC lathes
* Perform turning for angles, radii, tapers, and bores
* Use manual lathes occasionally
* Inspect work with precision tools
* Check incoming materials and final parts
* Replace/sharpen tools
* Maintain records and a clean, safe workspace
* Report issues to supervisor
* Follow company rules and quality standards
* Assist with other factory tasks as needed
Key Experience & Qualifications – CNC Turner
* Technical qualification or 5+ years in a machine shop
* Skilled in machine tool setup and operation
* Proficient with precision measuring tools
