The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position of: Restaurant Supervisor - Pastamara Ciccio Sultano has gone on a culinary journey, picking up the choicest ingredients and the most authentic seasoning along the way, and now he's ready to start a new chapter in his gourmet story here in Vienna. Following the successes of both his Michelin 2-star restaurant, he is making a new gastronomic mark with the opening of Pastamara, a stylish bar con cucina that reimagines classic Sicilian cuisine. In the Sicilian style, you strive for the well-being of our guests and support the restaurant manager in all matters. You shall act as his substitute in his absence. At the same time, you are an important support of the entire service team and know how to motivate such with enthusiasm. You convince with your natural manners, safe appearance and sound knowledge of wine. You are responsible for the smooth running of the service as well as for the cleanliness of the restaurant. The Restaurant Supervisor supports the Restaurant Manager in the employee deployment and will be part of daily meetings (line-ups). Your tasks: · Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met · Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. · Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. · Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. · Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests · Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; · Serve as a role model and first point of contact
