The opportunity
We're hiring for an Insurance Team Leader to join our Credit Control team on a full-time, permanent basis. We aim to provide an experience that is both fulfilling and meaningful. Your new role
As our Team Leader, you'll guide and support a team managing over £5.2 billion in annual premium collections. Your mission? Maintain smooth operations, meet targets, and uphold high standards. You'll lead by example, ensuring daily operations stay on track, your team feels supported, and performance goals are exceeded. Your focus on accuracy, compliance, and clear reporting will be vital, along with building trusted partnerships across the business. This role suits someone who enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Main responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and support the team to achieve business goals and service standards
* Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement operational strategies
* Handle complex queries efficiently and effectively
* Build strong relationships with underwriters, clients, and offshore teams
* Promote clear communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive results through people

Skills Youll Need
* Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build trust quickly

* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, even when juggling multiple projects
Bonus Skills
* Knowledge of London Market credit control (bureau/non-bureau)
* Understanding of legal/regulatory frameworks like FCA or Lloyds
* Experience with underwriting or insurance administration processes
* Familiarity with reinsurance or specific insurance knowledge
