Class 1 HGV Day Driver - £16.00 per hour - Clitheroe (Ad-hoc Work)
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Clitheroe. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible daytime shifts at a competitive hourly rate.
Location: Clitheroe
Working Hours: Ad-hoc daytime shifts (start times typically between 06:00-08:00)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Type of Work: General haulage
The Role
* Driving Class 1 vehicles on daytime deliveries and collections across the UK
* Handling general haulage work, securing loads safely, and meeting delivery schedules
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly
* Representing both the agency and client in a professional and reliable manner
Requirements
* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
* Flexibility to cover ad-hoc shifts at short notice
* Safety-conscious, professional, and dependable approach
