An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join our nationally recognised Private Client team, based in our long established Worcester office. Our private client team are a core part of the firm and one of the largest in the country. Our private client team cover the full spectrum of private client matters to include wills, trusts, tax and estate planning, probate and estate administration, alongside some Court of Protection work. The team work with a wide range of clients to include high net worth individuals, business owners, private family trusts and agriculture, often working with families across generations on long term estate and lifetime planning. This variety gives lawyers the opportunity to develop their expertise across the whole lifecycle of private client work and truly get to know their clients. This private client solicitor will be joining our supportive and close knit private client team, who are proud of the collaborative environment that they operate within. This private client team are building upon their successful roots in Worcester and beyond, with a modern, fresh and collegiate outlook. This team communicate well between them and make sure that they support each other, as well as receiving support from management. Clear and structured progression pathways are in place with solicitors encouraged and supported to develop their skills, broaden their experience and progress through the ranks with a focus on training, mentoring, constructive feedback and realistic expectations. You will be a qualified solicitor, or legal executive, with up to 4 years’ experience in private client. You’ll be comfortable in advising and managing your own private client caseload alongside taking an interest in business development both internally and externally. You will be required to develop and maintain knowledge on private client news or market information and share collaboratively between the team. We encourage all members of the team to become full members of STEP and provide support to those working towards qualification. Candidates who already hold STEP, or who are willing to work towards it, will be welcomed.
