We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Management Accountant role
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes - 100% office based
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
* Month-end reporting.
* Cashflow forecasting.
* Monitoring and reporting of inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
* Ensuring fixed assets are managed and reported correctly.
* Check and submit VAT and other HMRC reports.
* Manage credit card expenses.
* Prepare annual external audits.
* Assist the Finance Manager.
Requirements for a successful Management Accountant
* AAT Level 4 qualified.
* Previous financial control and management accountant experience.
* Experience with fixed asset management and working capital management.
* Broad financial skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and experience with BI systems such as COGNOS or Qlikview.
