The Clinical Systems Support Officer is responsible for a discreet number of clinical systems, providing daily support, managing supplier relationships, and project‑managing upgrades or major functional changes to ensure services are always maintained.
Based at Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, the post holder will work across all Royal Free London sites, with at least two days of onsite working expected each week.
Responsibilities
* Manage security and access control (RBAC); review and apply user rights in line with IG directives.
* Liaise with Operations Managers, clinical leads, external providers, internal staff, and clinicians throughout the Trust.
* Attend meetings with stakeholders and suppliers, both internal and external, as required.
* Provide highly complex clinical application support to service users via Teams, face‑to‑face, or telephone.
* Collaborate with General Managers to agree improvements to workflows and processes and assess implications for the wider Trust.
* Regularly liaise with internal managers in Informatics, Coding, Data Quality, and RTT to represent Patient Systems in strategic decision‑making.
* Deliver up‑to‑date and accurate reporting from departmental IT systems, as requested.
* Support IT teams to deliver a smooth and robust service, balancing independent work with collaborative efforts.
