Job summary
We are looking to recruit a number ofqualified Nurse Associates to work across our Primary Care Network on a shortterm fixed contract with a view to extending this in the future.
We are looking for highly motivatedand dedicated professionals who are flexible and willing to work as part of thewider PCN team based in our member practices and suporting our Nursing teams.
As well as the usual work required acrossPrimary Care these are exciting times as we prepare to offer Covid vaccines toour patients and we will expect these roles to work closely with the PCN ondeveloping and supporting these large scale vaccination sites.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Nursing Associatewill be to work with the Registered Nurse and other members of our diverse clinicalteam, providing and monitoring care to patients within the network andcontributing to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with the supervisingclinician(s) and in line with the service pathways.
The Nurse Associate plays a key rolein shaping the delivery of nursing care for the future. We are looking torecruit motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work with us and help us tomake sure this an integral role moving forward.
Part of the role will be working across ourCovid Vaccination sites and completing clinics in our extended hours capacityso the candidates need to be flexible and able to do shift work when required.

Nursing associates are equipped withthe knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant toemployment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised codeof conduct (Nursing and Midwifery Council 2015).
The role will assist the registeredstaff to deliver:
To compliment the role of the GP andother Health Professionals as an integral part and key member of the care team.
To make the best use of clinicalskills within the practice in order to promote well-being and maximise healthgain for patients.
To provide a safe, high quality andaccessible treatment room service to the practice population.
To assist with Flu and Covidvaccination programmes
