The Role
An established organisation within the renewable energy sector is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support its growing Solar PV projects portfolio. Operating within a wider Power & Grid division, this role will play a key part in commercial delivery, cost management, and project performance.
Key Duties
* Support monthly cost reporting and CVR production
* Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
* Administer contracts in line with agreed terms
* Oversee cash flow and financial tracking across projects
* Handle subcontractor accounts from measurement through to final account
* Attend commercial and project meetings, including site visits
* Assist with client interaction alongside senior team members
* Provide guidance to junior staff and ensure internal compliance
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of contract law (NEC preferred)
* Commercially aware with solid financial skills
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
* Basis DBS check
