About the role:
You’ll work alongside the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and development across the classroom, helping pupils build confidence and independence.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Your day may begin by welcoming pupils into the classroom, helping them settle and feel ready to learn. Throughout the day, you will:
* Support small group activities in phonics, reading, and maths
* Sit alongside pupils during lessons to reinforce understanding
* Help manage routines and transitions
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
* Build strong relationships with pupils, becoming a trusted adult
What we’re looking for:
* A positive, patient, and proactive individual
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for working with children
* Experience is helpful but not essential
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Full-time, term-time only
