We are looking to add staff to our Electrics Team who carry out activity of sorting, cleaning, PAT testing, repairing or recycling donated pre-used small electrical items and white goods. Also to provide labouring/maintenance support to other departments. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job, including PAT and (long term) white goods certification.
Must have relevant qualifications/interest in electricals, fluent English and good literacy skills for the requirements of the role. Junior & Senior positions available. Wages but are negotiable depending on past electrical experience and qualifications. PAT testing certification provided.
Job Summary
* Sort through donated pre-used electrical items for shop stock or recycling
* Clean & repair items fit for sale and strip/recycle items unfit for sale
* Ensure organisational procedures and quality standards are met
* Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the warehouse ensuring self, co-workers, volunteers and customers comply with Health & Safety regulations
* Assist other departments in moving furniture, donation bags and assisting in the loading/unloading of lorries as requested
