Electrical Fitter/ Industrial Electrician Wanted!
Location: Leicester| Full Time
Salary: £32K (£49K OTE including overtime) | On Site
We're working with a market-leading manufacturer based in Leicester, specialising in heavy plant equipment. Due to continued growth, they're now looking to recruit Electrical Fitters / Industrial Electricians to join their workshop team.
This is a hands-on role working on large-scale machinery and complex control systems — ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges and detailed electrical work.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Wiring and installing electrical systems on heavy plant machinery
* Building and wiring large industrial control panels (high I/O volumes)
* Working on motors, control systems, and associated components
* Fault finding using electrical schematics
* Testing circuits using voltmeters and diagnostic tools
* Supporting the build and commissioning of equipment
Requirements
* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition qualified
* Experience wiring machinery and industrial equipment
* Background in panel building and control systems
* Strong fault-finding skills using schematics
* Confident using testing equipment such as voltmeters
* Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
