Talent Acquisition Associate at Laing O’Rourke

We are currently seeking a skilled commercial professional to join our team at Sizewell C. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the commercial management of a project or section of a larger project. You will oversee all financial and contractual aspects, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in line with company standards and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all quantity surveying duties, including measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections.
* Prepare and manage interim applications for payment and certification.
* Draft, manage, and settle subcontracts and prepare final accounts.
* Manage and report monthly costs, cash flow, and commercial risks.
* Advise project management on contractual implications and commercial strategy.
* Prepare and manage monthly contract reviews, management accounts, and business plan data.
* Support and mentor junior commercial staff.
* Ensure that contract documents are executed and change control processes are implemented effectively.
Qualifications And Experience
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience leading commercial management for small to medium projects or significant sections of large‑scale projects.
* Essential – NEC Experience.
* Experience in geotechnical / piling preferred.
