About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in Bognor Regis, overseeing our bustling Papa John's 200-seater restaurant. Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running the kitchen and guiding a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift.
At the heart of our values is the commitment to making our guests smile. You’ll ensure that every operational decision keeps our guests at the forefront. Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am and 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.
About You
We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar kitchen role, or those eager to step up to the next level. You should be:
* Hardworking and determined: A reliable person who gets things done and seeks better ways for the team to meet our brand standards.
* Energetic and enthusiastic: High-spirited and fun-loving, understanding the value you bring to the guest experience by empowering your team.
* Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
