Overview
AgrowingorganisationbasedinWetherbyisseekingahands-on PayrollManagertotakefullownershipofthepayrollfunctionacrossmultipleentities.Thisisastandaloneposition,idealforsomeonewhothrivesonresponsibility,accuracyandprocessimprovement.Youwillworkcloselywiththewiderfinanceteamandbethego-toexpertforallpayroll-relatedmatters.
KeyResponsibilities
* Manageend-to-endpayrollfor300+employeesacrossmultiplepayrollcycles(weekly,fortnightly,monthlyandsalaried).
* ProcessallstatutorypaymentsincludingSSP,SMP,SPPandSAP.
* Maintainaccurateemployeerecords,includingstarters,leaversandcontractualupdates.
* Ensurepayrollisprocessedaccurately,ontimeandinlinewithcurrentlegislation.
* Managepayrolljournalsandsupportthemonth-endcloseprocess.
* Handleemployeeandmanagerpayrollqueriesprofessionally.
* LiaisewithHMRCandexternalbodieswhererequired.
* Ensurecompliancewithinternalpolicies,auditrequirementsandGDPR.
* Supportyear-endactivitiesincludingP60s,P11Dsandpayrollreporting.
* Continuouslyreviewandimprovepayrollprocesses.

* Strongexperiencewithinastandaloneorleadpayrollrole.
* Confidentmanaginghigh-volume,multi-frequencypayroll.
* Knowledgeofmulti-companypayrollprocessing.
* Excellentattentiontodetailandhighlevelsofaccuracy.
* Strongcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytomanagesensitiveinformationconfidentially.
* Proficientwithpayrollsoftware,Excelandinternalsystems.
* Abletomanageworkloadindependentlyinaleanfinanceenvironment.
