HLRI CRF Business/Administrative Coordinator

A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrative Co-ordinator role at the VPD-Heart and Lung Research Institute Clinical Research Facility (VPD-HLRI CRF).
The VPD-HLRI CRF is a joint project between the University of Cambridge and Royal Papworth Hospital (RPH) to create a world-leading research environment delivering high impact research, directly impacting on global cardiovascular and respiratory health. It is a state-of-the-art facility for the delivery of clinical trials.
The aim of the post-holder is to provide business support to the VPD-HLRI CRF team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the VPD-HLRI CRF unit and to support effective and efficient management of clinical research studies conducted at the VPD-HLRI CRF. They will be responsible for providing a high quality, patient focused, comprehensive operational, secretarial, financial and administrative support service.

You will be based at the new Heart Lung Research Institute (HLRI) and Royal Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Research Team, you will be supporting the work at the VPD Heart & Lung Research Institute Clinical Research Facility.
The successful applicant will be part of the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) team undertaking trials within the Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. They will liaise closely with CRF team members, clinical trial delivery teams, R&D team and study sponsor representatives. They will be expected to operate with minimum supervision in organising and planning their own work activities.

Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent work experience
* RSA Level 3/advanced keyboard use or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continued learning and development

* Experience of a range of computerised software including Microsoft Office and data management systems
