Monarch Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within a Resource Base in a secondary school in Solihull, supporting students with special educational needs. Role Overview Provide targeted support to students within a Resource Base provision Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs Adapt classroom tasks to meet individual learning needs Support students with literacy, numeracy, and communication skills Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management Facilitate reintegration into mainstream lessons where appropriate Promote independence and engagement in learning Work closely with teaching staff and SEN team Monitor, record, and report on student progress Key Responsibilities Deliver structured support in line with EHCPs and support plans Use strategies to manage behaviours and support learning Support small group and 1:1 interventions Provide consistency and routine for students Assist with transitions between lessons and activities Requirements Experience supporting SEN in an education setting is essential Minimum 12 weeks' UK school experience Experience working with secondary-aged students Why Work with Monarch Education?
