Clinical Services Outpatient Manager | Outpatients| Private Hospital | Slough | Full-time | Competitive Pay plus fantastic benefits

Spire Thames Valley Hospital are looking for an experienced Clinical Services Outpatient Managerto lead our Outpatient Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality and efficient outpatient services, delivering key quality, performance and financial plans and service enhancements.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Managerial responsibility for the outpatient clinical departments.
2. Establish and maintain communication with various individuals and groups on complex potentially stressful topics, across a range of situations.
3. Develop own managerial and clinical knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop.
4. Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health safety and security.
5. Develop strategies and policies for service improvement.
6. Improve quality.
7. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
8. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
9. Delegate work to others.
10. Determine the effective use of physical and financial resources.
11. Undertake HumanResource activities for all members of the team.
12. Assist with research and development.
13. Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients.

Who we're looking for:

14. Relevant Diploma or Degree
15. NMC Registration
16. Previous experience in an outpatients department at a senior level.
17. Experience of working unsupervised.
18. Experience of leading a team.
19. Ability to manage, motivate, support, develop and lead the department
20. A focus on positive patient and user experience
21. Able to work cohesively across clinical teams
22. Competent across a range of clinical management and leadership skills
23. Performance monitoring and reporting capabilities
24. Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission
25. Auditing skills across clinical standards and departments
26. Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
27. Will be involved in Outpatients, Pre-Operative and Pathology
28. Must have current NMC or other AHP Registration
