The CPs at Hatherleigh Nursing Home will shadow you during clinical responsibilities, freeing up your time to focus on the aspects of nursing that inspired you to become a clinician – caring for those in need.
How are we going to do this?
1. A program of clinical support for all registered nurses and care practitioners working in nursing support roles.
2. The clinical team is supported by an advanced program based on NICE guidelines, NHS trust policies, and national guidance.
3. Clinical delivery is supported by a 24-hour on-call system with live support from a Clinical Nurse Manager.
4. The home's Quality Assurance system facilitates shared clinical decision-making.
5. The Nursing and Care Practitioner program includes NHS clinical courses and individually commissioned courses, such as those delivered by Kings College London.
Hatherleigh Nursing Home in Okehampton, part of the Evolve Care Group, invests 100 face-to-face accredited training hours per year for every team member. This year, we introduce our “Build Back Better” program to restore quality of life for families and team members post-pandemic.
