We are looking for a Full-time Sales Consultant to join our elegant Miele Experience Centre in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Miele Experience Centres differ from regular retail stores, with lower footfall but higher-value customer transactions. We aim to provide a premium experience for every customer, whether they are outfitting a new kitchen or purchasing replacement detergents for their washing machine.
In this role, you will be...
1. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a natural salesperson, confident and capable when hosting clients, providing detailed quotes tailored to their needs, and delivering memorable in-store demonstrations.
2. You will have the ability to build relationships with clients and manage a longer sales process that may involve multiple visits and discussions.
3. Ideally, we are seeking sales consultants with previous experience in lifestyle sales or delivering bespoke solutions in a retail environment.
4. Working as part of a team, you will aim to meet sales targets for yourself and the team.
5. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills across telephone, face-to-face, and written interactions, responding effectively to quotations and queries.
6. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, credibility, confidence, passion, and pride in representing the brand are essential.
7. You should be able to multitask effectively, be IT literate, adaptable to systems and processes, and work well within a team to achieve great results.
The Miele brand is known for quality, design, and innovation. In our store, you will advise on the finest lifestyle appliances to enhance our clients' homes.
Our role involves delivering memorable demonstrations, bespoke consultations, and exceptional customer service, connecting Kitchen Dealers, consumers, and Miele, with opportunities to close sales directly or via our partner network.
What can we offer you?
1. We seek someone eager to develop long-term relationships, grow our customer base, and build a career with us.
2. This is a full-time role (including weekends) with a salary of £25,658 per annum, plus 33 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays), and a 37.5-hour workweek.
3. The role involves weekend work on a rota basis.
4. Additional benefits include a performance-related bonus scheme, health and wellbeing benefits, sales incentives, and recognition awards.
5. We foster a respectful, positive, and inclusive culture, offering exciting and rewarding career opportunities within our organization.
