Assistant House Manager
Children's home Ribbleton are recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant House Manager. In this role you will support and care for our young people and lead a small staff team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing support and care for young people.
* Managing a small staff team and overseeing line management.
* Implementing care and independence programmes.
* Managing shift patterns on a rota basis.
* Communicating effectively with team and young people.
* Maintaining resilience and attentiveness in variably challenging situations.
Required qualifications and experience:
* A Level 5 qualification in Children and Young People is essential; willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Experience working with vulnerable children, children with emotional/behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, etc.
* Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Additional requirements:
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening, Disclosure & Barring Service checks and provide at least 2 references covering the last 3 years.
