Aspire People are looking for a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent from September 2025. If you're passionate about supporting young people and enjoy working in a school environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in education and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
Manage classroom behavior to ensure a productive learning environment
Support students with work set by teachers
Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff and senior leadership
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (preferably in a school setting)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage and motivate students effectively
A positive and professional attitude
Willingness to learn and follow school policies and procedures
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
