This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional looking to join a dynamic, agile business that champions innovation and continuous improvement.The Opportunity:As a Supplier Quality Engineer you'll play a key role in:Leading supplier approval audits and onboarding processes to ensure global supplier quality standards are metSupporting and reviewing Part Approval documentation including PPAP, FMEAs and Control PlansLiaising cross-functionally with engineering, project management and metrology teams to validate supplier submissionsManaging nonconformance reports and facilitating supplier corrective actions with a focus on root cause and preventionConducting UK and international site audits and supporting supplier development initiativesYour work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service, reducing waste and enhancing customer satisfaction.About You:We're looking for someone who can bring:Experience in a supplier quality, production quality or quality assurance role, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering settingUnderstanding of quality systems such as ISO9001 or IATF16949, with experience of supplier auditsThe ability to interpret technical documents and drive quality improvements within a global supply baseStrong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approachIdeally, knowledge of core tools such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP (training will be provided if needed)Whether you're an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer or someone with a strong quality background looking to specialise in supplier quality, we want to hear from you.In return, you'll enjoy:£35,000 - £45,000 salary depending on experienceGenerous holiday and benefits allowanceOngoing learning and development supportOpportunities for UK and international travelA collaborative and inclusive team cultureHow to Apply:This Supplier Quality Engineer opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment, a trusted recruitment partner.
