P&L Recruitment are recruiting exclusively for a small growing Accountancy Firm based in North Lanarkshire, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountancy Graduate or a candidate with some accounts experience to move into an entry level role and progress a career in Accounting while working towards a professional accounting qualification.
The role will include:
* Bookkeeping and accounts preparation
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing VAT returns
* Preparing client bank recs
* Preparing Tax returns
* Using SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks Accounting software
* Daily communication with clients, through calls and emails
What we are looking for:
* Accounting Degree or relevant experience in an Accountancy Practice
* Accounting software experience would be preferred
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively
* Someone who can work independently, and take ownership of their work
