Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Cleveland & Durham Police Tactical Training Centre, TS16 0QB on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours a week. On offer is a salary of £26,.64 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
3 week shift rota averaging 42 hours per week, including day shift and nights.
What will you deliver?
Undertake general security duties relating to the protection of the Premises, Property and Persons within the site perimeter. To ensure a professional and efficient service, with effective communication with line manager and Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. To carry out specific duties relating to patrolling, guarding the premises, fire checks/inspections, access control and car park duties.
2. To monitor and record all activities within the external environment by use of the Facilities CCTV System and to comply with the code of practice in respect of CCTV usage.
3. To be thoroughly familiar with all emergency procedures and call out systems. To carry out all duties in a courteous manner and render assistance conducive with good security.
4. To identify and report any hazards or infringements in compliance with the Companys Health & Safety Policy and to take immediate remedial action in the event of public safety hazards.
5. General office admin cover as and when required during periods of Sickness/Absence and Holidays.
6. To provide a reception service at the facility including answering telephone calls and directing them as appropriate, greeting and booking in and out of users and visitors to the facility.
Requirements
7. Must hold valid and current SIA Security Manned Guarding License as a minimum.
8. Previous experience in front line security manned guarding services role is essential
