Machinery Packaging & Shipping Operative – Barnsley – Permanent Role
Winner Recruitment are currently recruiting for a hands-on Machinery Packaging & Shipping Operative to join a leading, well-established manufacturing company in Barnsley on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Build custom packaging solutions for machinery using pallets, timber, and other materials
Measure, cut, and assemble materials safely and accurately
Prepare machinery for dispatch, ensuring items are secure and protected
Load and unload goods efficiently
Carry out quality checks to maintain high standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment
Experience using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
What’s on offer:
£13–£16 per hour (depending on experience)
