Banking Associate - Birmingham Overview Our client, a Top 20 UK law firm, seek to recruit an Associate to join their Tier 1 ranked Banking team, in Birmingham. Responsibilities Assist in advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters including loan facilities, security documentation, and regulatory compliance. Support senior associates and partners in transaction execution, including drafting and reviewing legal documents. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis relevant to banking and finance law. Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver innovative and client-focused solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes. Participate in client meetings, calls, and presentations as needed. Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the practice. Qualifications Qualified solicitor with 0 to 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably gained within private practice. Strong academic background in law, with particular interest or exposure to banking and finance. Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team. Commitment to upholding principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion. Commercial awareness and proactive approach to problem-solving. Day-to-Day Managing your own workload with guidance from senior team members.
