Newcastle upon Tyne based x 3 days a week, x 2 days from homeUp to £42k DOE + benefitsInternal Communications Specialist profile: The newly appointed Internal Communications Specialist, will develop and execute internal communications strategies to drive business efficiency and maintain a high employer brand profile.The main responsibilities will be:Implementation of the annual internal communications planMonthly programme of corporate updates showcasing excellent work, best practice and latest newsContent creation for the quarterly staff newsletterThe creation of film and written content to support employer brand communicationThe creation of film and written content to support internal initiatives (including the launch of new benefits, processes and procedures, promotion of events etc.).The effective running of a series of company events across the yearThe creation of branded materials to support the work of the People and Culture teamSupport for other aspects of the marketing function, as requiredUnderstanding the business strategy and where they fit within thisQuarterly newsletter – this has been on pause, but there is a clear set of requirements to follow and will use their journalistic skills to gather relevant information.Corporate update, gathering of information across the business, leadership led. Will create power point slides which summarise the main things that have been going on over the month.Deliver content / campaigns that operational staff can accessEmployer brand responsibility.Essential experience required:3+ within a similar internal communications role, gained within a B2B/technical environmentTo succeed in this role, you will have an inquisitive, creative approach to fostering and delivering communication, be highly collaborative and genuinely enthusiastic about what you do.You will also have a degree-level qualification or equivalent, or proof of significant relevant experience in a similar role where excellent writing and organisational skills were essential.
