Our safeguarding team manages all professional safeguarding across adult social care, focusing on the individual’s outcomes and applying professional curiosity to evaluate information objectively.

You will have the opportunity to:

You will need:
* CQSW/CSS/Diploma/Degree in Social Work or equivalent (Essential)
* Social Work England Registration (Essential)
* Enhanced DBS check, including Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists (Essential)
* Knowledge of social work policies and recent service developments
* Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues
* Resilience and positive attitude towards change
* Understanding of multi-disciplinary working and safeguarding legislation
You will be:
* Allocated to safeguarding concerns, working towards timely resolution and documentation
* Developing effective relationships with health and voluntary sector professionals
* Communicating effectively with adults at risk and their families, following Making Safeguarding Personal principles
* Well-versed in enquiries, the Care Act, and safeguarding policies
This is a hybrid role, combining office work across various locations with the option to work from home where appropriate.
