This role involves participating in end-to-end machine learning projects, collaborating with data scientists and researchers to solve complex problems using supervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and GenAI. You will work with data analysts, engineers, and architects to improve model performance and integrate insights.
The successful candidate will:
* Have proficiency with AWS cloud services such as SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, EMR, and Glue.
* Understand the machine learning development cycle, including data engineering, analysis, modeling, and operations.
* Design and implement scalable ML solutions, develop predictive models, and collaborate on their integration and optimization.
* Be skilled in Python and tools like VS Code and Jupyter Notebooks.
* Be passionate about advances in machine learning, including supervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and GenAI.
* Know AWS security practices, including IAM, S3 policies, security groups, and VPCs.
* Follow best practices for model training, deployment, hyperparameter tuning, and operationalization.
* Utilize frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, PySpark, and Pandas.
* Apply software design patterns for maintainable, scalable code.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and support data pipelines for model development using tools like PySpark and GlueETL.
* Support model deployment and understand SDLC processes.
* Review pipeline designs and document changes with data science teams.
* Conduct data discovery, analysis, and quality assessments.
* Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytic approaches.
* Monitor models and address issues from alerts.
* Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* 5-7 years of programming and coding experience.
* Proficiency in Python, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related frameworks.
* 3-5 years of AWS cloud experience, including core services and security.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Skills:
* Experience in related engineering disciplines or alternative fields is a plus.
* 2-5 years of relevant machine learning experience.
