Overview
My client just gets busier and busier and subsequently, we are now supporting them with a Manufacturing Administrator. Supporting the production process through various administrative tasks, including managing customer orders, coordinating with production and suppliers, handling all related paperwork and ensuring accurate and timely updates to internal systems.
Responsibilities
* Order management: Process customer orders, track them through production and dispatch, and handle related inquiries and issues.
* Production support: Assist with administrative functions for the production team, such as managing the production plan and updating records.
* Documentation and data entry: Ensure all manufacturing paperwork, including factory work orders and delivery notes, is completed accurately and filed correctly for an audit trail and traceability.
* System administration: Input, retrieve, and update data in internal computer systems, including the ERP system and stock location systems.
* Supplier and inter-departmental liaison: Communicate with suppliers and other departments, such as transport and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
Essential skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other computerised information systems.
* High level of literacy and numeracy.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Typical tasks
* Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
* Procuring office stationery and other supplies.
* Raising purchase and dispatch orders.
* Filing all relevant documentation.
* Providing general office support
Hours of work are Mon-Thur 8am-4.30am with an early finish on Fridays
