What will you be doing?
Educate for Life’s aim is to support community-led, long-term socio-economic transformation of indigenous Adivasi communities in Southern Rajasthan, India. Our two main areas of work are: 1) strengthening provision of education to improve life skills for children and young people; 2) providing community health programmes to support healthy pregnancies and childhoods. We seek a vocal, experienced Trustee with knowledge of the international development/overseas sector, particularly in M&E and quality assurance, to provide scrutiny, challenge and improvements to our existing M&E systems. The Trustee will use data to inform strategy and ensure our programmes remain impactful. The aim is to empower local partners, build their capacity to manage projects, involve and consult the community, and remain transparent with funders. We operate with remote partners and strive for sustainable handovers while providing support to improve practices and outcomes. Data collection tools and a digital data collection app are in use; the Trustee will monitor these systems and suggest improvements to ensure robust monitoring and evaluation. The Trustee will use data to inform strategy and support updates to strategic documents, including EFL and partners’ Theory of Change. If leading in this area resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
