Security Officer Job Description
Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular site patrols, and record these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in, and sign out of the site.
Record the entry and exit of deliveries, including processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
Carry out patrols to the correct standards and set/unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
Comply with site waste management procedures.
Complete required documentation, including daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records, and site-specific reports.
Be familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other safety documents; advise the Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations.
Maintain personal training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, ensuring skills, especially first aid and fire marshal training, are up to date.
Apply SIA skills professionally, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA license must always be displayed.
Perform ad hoc duties as directed.

Candidate Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
* A valid SIA CCTV License is desirable.
* Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Full UK Driving License and reliable transport.
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
