The post holder will be expected to independently provide interventions, promoting independence; self-management; compensatory strategies, including functional assessment and education.
In addition, they will need to undertake specific technical and administrative tasks as delegated by the lead or supervising occupational therapist.
The post holder will carry a delegated caseload of service users with less complex occupational therapy needs and will undertake assessments and reviews following screening by the occupational therapist.
They are required to respond flexibly to changing needs within both the occupational therapy and neurology service.
