Brett Martin is a firmly established global business, manufacturing an ever-growing range of plastic and building products. Due to continuous growth and investment, we are seeking to recruit a number of new Trainee Technical Operators to join us. You will have the opportunity to join an exciting and innovative workplace, working with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
About The Role
* Salary Ranged from £36,432.40 to £37,419.55
* Shifts we work: various shift patterns, including 12-hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule.
* 2 Set Pattern: Runs 4 x 12-hour shifts back-to-back – either Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri.
* 4 Set (Continental) Pattern :12-hour shifts rotating between 4 days and 3 days each week. Every other weekend.

Desired Criteria
* Technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering
* Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience
* Experience in TPM, preferably in a continuous processing environment
* Shift work experience (including nights and weekends)
Required Criteria
* Minimum of 2 years in a technical/mechanical role
* Good manual dexterity skills
* Proactive in solving technical/process issues
* Clear understanding of performance targets
* Familiarity with day-to-day activities (housekeeping, H&S, recycling, energy efficiency)
