Job Title: Care Assistant – Weekend

Contract: Full‑Time, Part‑Time, Flexible
Salary: £13.80 per hour (weekends) + paid travel time & mileage
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle. Business‑use car insurance and right to work in the UK are required.

* UK Driving Licence & own vehicle required.
* £13.80 per hour (weekends).
* Paid travel time & paid mileage (40p per mile).
* Enhanced rate of pay on bank holidays (time and a half).
* On‑call support.
* Sleep‑in & waking nights available.
* Comprehensive induction & training package, paid at usual hourly rate.
* Hours include early, evenings, and alternate weekends (or weekends only if you prefer).
* Paid DBS check.

* Career progression with fully funded Care Certificate.
* Paid training: Apprenticeships, Mental Health First Aid, Hydration training, Medication, Dysphagia Awareness, Dementia Care, Palliative Care & Parkinson's Care.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant you will provide personalised care for older adults in their own homes. Your duties will include:
* Supporting clients with daily living activities, including going out, shopping, medication reminders, and personal care.
* Providing dementia care and responsive support for clients with complex needs.
* Maintaining safety and wellbeing of clients while respecting their independence.
* Collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans.
* Representing Radfield Home Care’s standard of compassionate care in the community.
Qualifications & Skills
* Right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Valid UK driving licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
* Ability to obtain business‑use car insurance.
* Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
* Experience in care (caregiver, care home assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant, etc.) is desirable but not mandatory.
