Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Qualified Assessor in Health and Social Care to join our team. This vital role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals across diverse settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals with various health conditions, disabilities, and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of clinical expertise, compassionate communication skills, and a proactive approach to case management. Duties Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs. Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments. Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways. Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements. Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets. Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed. Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies. Essential Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent) Experience in an apprenticeship setting. Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery. Full driving license and access to a vehicle. Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration. Welsh speaking is desirable.
